The iPhone vs. the Samsung Galaxy – is One Better than the Other?

When you are trying to buy the latest phone, you want to make sure that you take a look at everything that you need to know about the process. How much do you want to spend on it? What sorts of features do you need in order to achieve your goals? And what is going to be able to stand the test of time when it comes to the hardware?

You will likely start to discover that there are a lot of things that you need to consider when you start looking at your potential devices. Many people will get to a point where they assume that their solution is going to be a simple one – do they want to invest in an iPhone, or would it be better for them to go ahead and put their money into the Samsung Galaxy? Is one of them actually better than the other, or does it not really matter what you are going to want to do with your options?

The fact of the matter is, there is not one really good answer. It depends on what you prefer. Some people believe that the Android interface is a lot easier to use than the iPhone one, so they would go with a Samsung Galaxy device instead. Others believe that the iPhone is much better quality and offers more when it comes to apps and other upgrades that you may want to get. In short, you want to look around and compare the various devices that are on the market and see what ones have the traits that are most important to you. Then, you will know which one is actually going to be the best one for you and your needs.

Many times, you want to make sure that what you get is going to keep up with anything and everything that you may be trying to do as time goes on. A piece of hardware that is not going to break easily and that you are likely going to keep for many years is what you want to go with. And both the Galaxy and the iPhone have recent models which make that goal much easier for you to achieve in the long run.

How Does the Samsung Wireless Charger Work?

How Does the Samsung Wireless Charger Work?

As technology has gotten more advanced, there are a lot of things that people really don’t understand like they used to. For example, you are likely quite used to plugging your mobile device in if the battery starts to drain. The plug in the wall makes it that much easier for you to get it working again and your battery will be ready to go the next time that you need to go out and do something.

That being said, did you know that there are now wireless chargers that you can use in order to charge your Samsung Galaxy and other wireless devices? How do these even work? Is there a way to make sure that you get everything that you need? Does it actually fill up your battery as effectively or efficiently as just plugging your phone into the wall? Yes, absolutely.

How does it work? Let’s take a look at the two main types of wireless charging that are currently available. They are referred to as Qi and PMA chargers.

Qi. Qi, which comes from the Chinese word meaning “energy from nature,” is the more common type of wireless charger that is available. This, in short, uses the power of electromagnetic charges in order to make sure that your phone is charging the way that it should be. The coils end up matching up with your device and then helping the battery to charge up the way that you want it to be able to.  There are two types of devices that use Qi – one is mobile, the other is a base station, and both of them work equally well when it comes to making sure that you can get just what you need when it comes to charging your device.

PMA. The Powers Matter Alliance, better known as the PMA, is another type of wireless charger, usually used by companies like Proctor and Gamble. These are used in a lot of companies that want to offer wireless charging options to their customers (think coffee shops). Why? Because it allows you to keep an eye on what is being used by the phone and prevent any issues from coming up at your business. So, the next time you see a wireless charger in a coffee shop or some other public area, it’s likely a PMA device that you are using.

The way that Samsung devices are being built now allows for you to use either of these types of wireless charger with no issues at all. You want to figure out which is going to be right for you and your needs and then go ahead and buy that one.

The wireless charger is just one of the products that we offer at https://www.telcoworld.com.au/plans. We continue to keep up with all of the latest trends in technology and make sure that we can bring them to you as well. And, if you are in need of repairs for those devices, we will be able to help you with that as well. Take the time to look at our plans today.

Samsung Races Ahead Of The Mobile Market With The Galaxy S7

Samsung Galaxy S7 MelbourneSamsung seemed primed to dominate the mobile markets in 2012, with the launch of their flagship S3 smartphone. The S3 kickstarted a healthy market run, with five successive quarters of profits.

Unfortunately, Samsung weren’t able to keep their winning streak going, as each successive generation of Samsung Galaxies failed to capture their customers’ imaginations, leading to seven quarters of reported losses.

This decline seems to be turning around, as the South Korean electronics manufacturer reported a profit of $5.8 billion for 2016’s first quarter – a 12% increase over last year’s first quarter. Samsung even managed to exceed analysts’ predictions, which is a great sign for the future of Samsung’s mobile department.

Samsung’s turnaround couldn’t have come at a better time, with the company reporting an operating profit of $3.89 trillion – nearly a 42% profit from 2015’s first quarter, and the highest for Samsung since 2014.

Although the manufacturer doesn’t release specific figures, it’s estimated that Samsung shipped 9.5 million Galaxy S7’s this quarter, surpassing the expectations of many financial speculators. Samsung’s chip division is also reportedly in the black, with a net profit of $2.63 trillion won, despite being a 10% decline from 2015’s first-quarter chip sales.

Samsung is predicting healthy sales for the second quarter, as well, due to the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

Considering that most smartphone manufacturers have reported a decline in sales, this quarter, these figures suggest that Samsung is stealing back the hearts, minds, and imaginations of savvy smartphone lovers.
